Lending Analytics Disclosure

All SBA data mentioned or shared on this website comes from the lending analytics platform developed and maintained by SBADNA Analytics. SBADNA and LoanBox are both owned by the same parent company FuseSync LLC.

LoanBox Analytics Disclosure

Effective Date: June 22, 2025

Introduction

All SBA data mentioned or shared on the LoanBox website is sourced from the lending analytics platform developed and maintained by SBADNA Analytics. Both SBADNA Analytics and LoanBox are owned by the same parent company, FuseSync, LLC. This disclosure outlines the source, methodology, and limitations of the SBA data used in our analytics and reports.

SBA Data Source and Methodology

Data Source

The original source of SBA loan data is the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBA collects individual loan data from SBA-approved lenders and banks, which is then released publicly under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). This FOIA data is imported into the SBADNA Analytics platform, which processes and analyzes it to generate the reports and rankings displayed on LoanBox.com.

SBA 7(a) Program

All SBA lending data presented on this site pertains exclusively to the SBA’s flagship 7(a) loan program. It does not include data from the SBA 504 program, Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans, or other SBA loan programs unless explicitly stated.

Data Integrity

  • Accuracy Limitations: The SBA-reported data may contain imperfections due to human error in data entry by bank representatives or inaccuracies in the SBADNA Analytics platform’s calculations. LoanBox posts this data to the appropriate pages and categories but does not independently verify its accuracy.

  • Erroneous Entries: Some data points may be incorrect or miscategorized. The prevalence of errors varies by lender, as different lenders exercise varying degrees of diligence in reporting to the SBA. Older data tends to be less reliable than recent data.

Loan Status

  • Approval Inclusion: Loan approvals and approval amounts reported include all loan statuses (e.g., approved, disbursed, canceled) unless otherwise noted.

  • Canceled Loans: Canceled loans are included in our counts unless specified otherwise. Cancellations typically occur due to borrower decisions rather than lender unwillingness to fund approved loans.

  • Data Updates: Lenders may update loan statuses, but this updated data is only available to LoanBox following the SBA’s quarterly data releases.

Forecast Model

  • Overview: Our forecasting model predicts future loan trends using the Holt-Winters Forecasting method (Triple Exponential Smoothing), an AI-powered approach that weights recent data more heavily than older data.

  • Limitations: For lenders or franchises with fewer than 10 years of data, or when data is minimal or erratic, forecast quality may be reduced.

  • Methodology: The model calculates a weighted average of historical data, using either additive or multiplicative components. The AI platform tests both algorithms and displays the most accurate result.

Why Our Data May Vary from Other Sources

Discrepancies between LoanBox analytics and other sources may occur due to:

  • Time Frame Differences: The SBA uses a fiscal year ending September 30, while LoanBox reports data for fiscal years, calendar years, trailing 12 months, quarterly periods, and historical spans (e.g., last 5, 10, 20 years, and all-time).

  • Duplicate Handling: LoanBox merges duplicate loans, franchise brands, and cities, purging tens of thousands of duplicates. This may differ from sources that do not account for duplicates. Bank mergers are also reflected by combining bank names.

  • Approved vs. Disbursed Loans: While approvals are our primary metric, we also report disbursed (funded) loans. Disbursed amounts are always lower than approved amounts, unlike some sources that focus solely on approvals.

  • Canceled Loans: We include canceled loans in our counts unless otherwise noted, which may not align with other datasets.

  • Franchise-Specific Data: Franchisors or franchise analytics firms may have additional data on brands, distributors, or sub-franchisees not captured in SBA reports.

No Warranty of Data Accuracy or Completeness

LoanBox and SBADNA Analytics provide SBA data and analytics on an "as is" basis. We do not validate or verify the data released by the SBA. No warranty is made regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the data. Users should not rely solely on this data for decision-making and are encouraged to consult additional sources or professional advisors.

LoanBox AI Policy Disclosure

LoanBox AI Policy Disclosure

Effective Date: June 22, 2025

LoanBox, LLC ("LoanBox," "we," "us," or "our"), a subsidiary of FuseSync, LLC, operates the LoanBox Platform ("Platform"), a Progressive Web App (PWA) designed to facilitate small business loan matching. This AI Policy Disclosure ("AI Policy") explains how we use artificial intelligence ("LoanBox AI") to enhance Platform functionalities, including SBADNA Analytics, chatbot assistants, and matching algorithms, for borrowers, lenders, franchisors, and vendors. We are committed to transparency and compliance with applicable laws, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and other state privacy laws. By using the Platform, you consent to the AI practices described in this AI Policy. For website-specific terms, see the LoanBox Website Privacy Policy. For platform data practices, see the LoanBox Platform Privacy Policy.

1. Overview of LoanBox AI

LoanBox AI refers to the artificial intelligence features integrated into the Platform to improve user experience and streamline loan matching processes. These features are powered by third-party AI platforms, including Google Gemini AI (Gemini-2.5-Flash), hosted in secure environments like Amazon Web Services (AWS) Bedrock, and may include other models such as OpenAI’s GPT or Anthropic’s Claude, as updated periodically ("Third-Party AI Providers").

Key AI Features:

  • SBADNA Analytics: Processes SBA 7(a) loan data obtained under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to deliver insights on lender preferences, loan trends, and franchise performance. These insights enhance matching algorithms for borrowers, lenders, and franchisors.

  • Chatbot Assistants: Provide instant, tailored responses to inquiries about SBA and small business lending. These chatbots are accessible via the Platform’s Loanology learning center or franchisor dashboards and can be customized to reflect franchise-specific nuances.

  • Matching Algorithms: Analyze borrower and business data (e.g., financial statements, credit scores) to efficiently connect borrowers with lenders and ecosystem vendors, particularly for change of ownership loans.

LoanBox AI operates on a private large language model (LLM) infrastructure, ensuring data security and compliance with privacy laws.

2. Access and Use of LoanBox AI

  • License: LoanBox grants you a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, limited right to access and use LoanBox AI as part of the Platform services. This right is subject to your compliance with this AI Policy, the LoanBox Platform Privacy Policy, and any applicable user disclosures (e.g., Borrower, Lender, Franchisor).

  • Customization: Chatbot assistants can be tailored to your franchise brand or specific needs using data you provide (e.g., via dashboard input boxes or loan applications). Responses are designed to align with your brand’s voice and lending requirements.

  • User Interface: LoanBox AI is seamlessly integrated into the Platform’s user-friendly interface, accessible through dashboards, the Loanology learning center, or API-connected CRMs (e.g., Salesforce). No prior AI expertise is required to use these features.

3. AI Inputs and Outputs

  • Inputs: You may provide text, data, prompts, or other information to LoanBox AI ("Inputs"). Examples include:

  • Borrower or seller financial data for SBADNA Analytics or matching algorithms.

    1. Franchisee inquiries submitted to chatbot assistants.

    2. Franchisor brand data for customizing chatbot responses.

  • Outputs: LoanBox AI generates responses, analytics, or recommendations based on your Inputs ("Outputs"). Examples include:

  • SBADNA Analytics reports on loan trends.

    1. Chatbot answers to lending-related questions.

    2. Recommendations for borrower-lender matches.

  • Ownership: Inputs and Outputs are considered your data ("Customer Data") and are governed by the LoanBox Platform Privacy Policy. LoanBox does not claim ownership of your Customer Data beyond the rights necessary to provide and improve Platform services.

4. Responsible Use of LoanBox AI

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of LoanBox AI complies with this AI Policy and applicable laws. Specifically:

  • Compliance: Your Inputs and Outputs must comply with all relevant laws, this AI Policy, and Platform disclosures.

  • Prohibited Activities: You must not use LoanBox AI for illegal, fraudulent, harmful, or unauthorized purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Generating or disseminating false or misleading information.

    1. Infringing on intellectual property rights.

    2. Engaging in activities that could harm LoanBox, its users, or third parties.

  • Third-Party Terms: You must adhere to the terms and conditions of Third-Party AI Providers (e.g., Google Gemini AI Policies). Violations may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Platform.

5. Capabilities and Limitations of LoanBox AI

  • Capabilities:

  • SBADNA Analytics offers data-driven insights to improve loan matching and franchise performance analysis.

    1. Chatbots provide instant, personalized responses to lending inquiries, enhancing user support.

    2. Matching algorithms optimize connections between borrowers, lenders, and vendors for efficient loan processing.

  • Limitations:

  • Non-Unique Outputs: Due to the nature of large language models (LLMs), Outputs may not be unique and could resemble those generated for other users.

    1. No Real-Time Data: LoanBox AI does not retrieve real-time data; Outputs may not reflect events or information after the model’s last training update (e.g., post-March 2025 for Gemini-2.5-Flash).

    2. Potential Inaccuracies: Outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. You are responsible for independently verifying any AI-generated information before relying on it for decision-making (e.g., loan approvals, franchise valuations).

    3. Informational Use Only: SBADNA Analytics and other AI Outputs are for informational purposes only and do not substitute for professional financial advice or underwriting. LoanBox is not liable for decisions made based on AI Outputs.

6. Data Protection and Privacy

  • Data Handling: Inputs and Outputs are processed securely using AWS Bedrock and other Third-Party AI Providers, in compliance with GLBA, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and applicable state privacy laws. LoanBox and its providers do not:

  • Retain Inputs or Outputs for human review.

    1. Use Inputs or Outputs to train AI models without your explicit consent.

  • Metadata Collection: Third-Party AI Providers may collect non-personal metadata (e.g., usage patterns) for operational purposes such as billing, safety, or compliance. This metadata is not linked to your personal data.

Despite these robust security measures, no online platform is entirely risk-free. You use LoanBox AI at your own risk.

8. Beta Features

LoanBox may offer experimental AI features (“Beta Features”) on an “as is” basis, without warranties. These features may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice, potentially affecting access to certain Outputs. LoanBox is not obligated to support or maintain Beta Features.

Your continued use of LoanBox AI after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using LoanBox AI before the changes take effect.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by ceasing to use LoanBox AI features and notifying LoanBox in writing at privacy@loanbox.com. LoanBox Borrower Applicant Disclosure

LoanBox Borrower Applicant Disclosure

Effective Date: June 21, 2025

By engaging with the LoanBox platform to obtain a pre-qualification, pre-approval, or a business loan, you ("Borrower Applicant") agree to the following disclosures and release. LoanBox, LLC ("LoanBox"), a subsidiary of FuseSync, LLC, is a technology platform that facilitates matching between borrowers and lenders. LoanBox is not a lender or loan broker. Please read carefully before proceeding.

Note: This disclosure applies specifically to users of the LoanBox platform. For visitors to the LoanBox website (www.loanbox.com), please refer to the website's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, which are separate and distinct from this platform disclosure.

1. Overview of LoanBox Services

LoanBox, operated by FuseSync, LLC, a Colorado-based SaaS firm founded in 2019, provides automated pre-qualification assessments and human-reviewed pre-approval processes to help you evaluate financing options for small business loans. These services are available for various purposes, such as business acquisitions, debt refinancing, startup financing, or working capital. LoanBox leverages proprietary algorithms and analytics from SBADNA Analytics, a FuseSync platform launched in 2018, to match borrowers with vetted lenders based on dozens of criteria. LoanBox does not fund loans, guarantee loan approval, or act as a lender. All loan decisions are made by independent lenders. LoanBox complies with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), and SBA SOP 50108 (effective June 1, 2025).

2. Pre-Qualification Process

  • Description: The pre-qualification is an automated assessment based on the personal and business financial information you provide through our platform’s questionnaires. LoanBox algorithms use SBA SOP 50108 (effective June 1, 2025) and lender criteria to estimate your eligibility for loan programs, potential loan amounts, and requirements (e.g., down payments for acquisitions, collateral for general loans).

  • Limitations: The pre-qualification is not a promise, commitment, or offer to lend. It is a preliminary estimate based on unverified user inputs. No lender has reviewed your information at this stage, and no credit inquiries are performed. The assessment does not guarantee loan approval, terms, or availability, as actual eligibility depends on lender underwriting, document verification, and additional factors (e.g., credit scores, debt service coverage ratio).

  • Risks: Providing inaccurate or incomplete information may result in an unreliable pre-qualification assessment. LoanBox is not responsible for errors in user inputs or changes in lender criteria.

3. Pre-Approval Process

  • Description: After pre-qualification, you may upload documents (e.g., tax returns, financial statements) and participate in a discovery call with a LoanBox Advisor. Based on a human review of your inputs, uploaded documents, and the discovery call, LoanBox may issue a Pre-Approval Letter indicating that your loan package has been reviewed and at least one lender has expressed interest in providing a loan, subject to underwriting.

  • Limitations: The Pre-Approval Letter is not a promise, commitment, or guarantee to lend. It indicates preliminary lender interest but requires full underwriting, verification, and lender approval. No lender is obligated to provide a loan until a formal commitment letter is issued. The pre-approval does not guarantee loan approval, terms, or availability, as surprises (e.g., undisclosed debts, credit issues) or changes in your financial condition may affect eligibility.

4. Purpose for Sellers (For Acquisition Loans)

If you are seeking financing for a business acquisition, the pre-qualification helps you gauge your financing potential but should not be provided to sellers as assurance of your loanability. The Pre-Approval Letter demonstrates that LoanBox has vetted your financial information and believes you are likely to secure financing, barring unforeseen issues. It is intended to provide sellers confidence in your ability to finance the purchase but is not a binding commitment.

5. Credit Inquiries

During or after the pre-approval process, lenders may perform soft or hard credit inquiries, which could impact your credit score. LoanBox’s policy requires lenders to refrain from conducting hard credit pulls until you accept a loan proposal. However, a lender may inadvertently perform a hard credit inquiry earlier due to operational errors or miscommunication. Neither LoanBox nor LoanBox lenders are responsible or liable for unintended hard credit pulls or their consequences, including any impact on your credit score. You authorize credit inquiries by proceeding with lender matching.

6. LoanBox Platform

LoanBox is a matching platform that connects borrowers with lenders using proprietary algorithms and advisor support. LoanBox does not directly:

  • Fund or originate loans.

  • Guarantee loan approval or terms.

  • Act as a lender, creditor, or traditional loan broker.
LoanBox, under FuseSync, LLC, may receive a referral fee from lenders upon loan closing, based on the level of service provided (e.g., standard matching, enhanced advisor support). Borrowers are not charged for this fee. There are no direct LoanBox fees for using the platform or receiving LoanBox Advisor support for loans over $250,000. For loans under $250,000, a fee not exceeding $2,500 may be assessed and if so disclosed in advance. LoanBox does not charge upfront or out-of-pocket fees to borrowers.

7. Role of LoanBox Advisors

LoanBox Advisors assist in securing approval and financing for your loan, particularly for purposes such as business acquisitions, debt refinancing, startup financing, or working capital. Advisors may provide guidance, based on experience, to meet lender requirements, such as overcoming qualifying obstacles through proper structuring, deal structuring, or addressing specific loan nuances.

  • Rates: While all LoanBox lenders offer competitive rates for similar loan types and programs, LoanBox Advisors prioritize loan approval and funding based on your timeline, circumstances, and nuances rather than solely on rate.

  • Limitations: LoanBox Advisors do not determine or validate the suitability of a business purchase or any other financial decision. You are solely responsible for evaluating the merits of your financing needs. Advisors are not licensed attorneys, certified public accountants (CPAs), or licensed business valuators. All documents (e.g., purchase agreements, valuations) must be approved by the lender and, for SBA loans, comply with SBA SOP 50108. You are responsible for consulting licensed professionals for legal, tax, or valuation advice. LoanBox Advisors may suggest vendors from the LoanBox Vendor Portal, but you must independently select and engage professionals.

  • Authorization: You authorize LoanBox Advisors to communicate with lenders and professionals (e.g., appraisers, attorneys) on your behalf, but not as your representative, sharing only necessary information to assist in loan approval and financing.

8. Professionals Section

LoanBox is not a law firm, certified public accounting firm, tax or accounting firm, or licensed valuation firm. For loans requiring professional services (e.g., purchase agreements for acquisitions, financial statements for startups, legal agreements for debt refinancing), you must engage licensed professionals. For example:

  • Change of ownership loans require executed purchase agreements and updated financial statements.

  • SBA loans for acquisitions ≥$250,000 and conventional loans ≥$500,000 typically require third-party valuations by licensed valuators.
LoanBox Advisors may suggest professionals from the LoanBox Vendor Portal, but you must independently select and engage them. You agree not to rely solely on LoanBox Advisors or content for legal, tax, accounting, or valuation decisions, and LoanBox is not responsible for third-party services.

9. SBADNA Analytics Disclosure

LoanBox provides analytics through SBADNA Analytics, owned by FuseSync, LLC, to offer insights into SBA 7(a) loan data.

  • Limitations: Data is for informational purposes only, may contain errors, and is not a substitute for professional advice or underwriting. LoanBox is not liable for decisions based on this data.

10. Data Sharing and Privacy

You authorize LoanBox to collect, store, and share your personal and financial data (e.g., loan applications, tax returns) with selected lenders and professionals to facilitate loan matching. Data is stored securely using third-party services (Softr, AWS, Airtable, Xano, Stripe), compliant with GLBA, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA. You are responsible for data accuracy. See Sections 15-18 for privacy rights.

11. Security and Compliance

The platform uses secure technologies (Softr, Airtable, Xano, AWS, Stripe) with certifications (SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001). Data is encrypted, but no platform is 100% secure; use at your own risk.

12. Risks and Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for: Accurate information, independent review of loan terms, engaging professionals.

  • Risks include: Credit score impacts, no assurance of loan approval, changes affecting eligibility.

  • LoanBox is not liable for lender decisions or data inaccuracies.

13. Release of Liability

You release LoanBox from liability for assessment outcomes, lender decisions, data use, delays, or reliance on analytics or third-party services.

14. Validity and Changes

Assessments are valid for 60 days. LoanBox may update this disclosure; continued use constitutes acceptance.

15. California Privacy Rights

LoanBox algorithms estimate the loan amount a qualified buyer could secure, potential seller financing requirements, and payment structures.

  • Risks: Inaccurate information may lead to unreliable analysis. LoanBox is not responsible for input errors or changes in lender criteria.

3. Pre-Approval Process

  • Description: After the Loanability Analysis, you may upload documents and participate in a discovery call. • Limitations: The Pre-Approval Letter is not a guarantee of buyer financing or a sale. It indicates preliminary lender interest but requires full underwriting.

  • Purpose: The Pre-Approval Letter signals to buyers that your business has been vetted for financing potential but is not binding.
